Summer is over, which means we’re back to early mornings and schedules. Bleh! It’s so hard to let go of a season filled with warm sunshine, family time, and vacations. But, on a positive note, Fall is near! Everyone loves fall, right? Lattes, boots, bonfires, s’mores, leaves everywhere, football, and did I mention PUMPKIN EVERYTHING?
In life, not only do we go through seasons of climate and weather changes, but we go through seasons of ups, downs, learning, growth, change, etc. The list goes on and on. Unfortunately, some of life’s seasons are not easy and are filled with disappointment and heartbreak. The Bible tells us “For everything there is a season”. By this, God is telling us that there is a reason for everything that we go through. Sometimes our plans don’t work out. But, when God closes a door, He will always open another. There’s a reason why you didn’t get that job, and there’s a reason why you didn’t make the team that you worked so hard for. You may not understand it now, but someday you will. Maybe you didn’t land that awesome job because He has something better up his sleeve! God’s timing is perfect. He has you right where you need to be!
He will fight for you and you only need to be still and trust Him!
Just remember, whatever season you’re in, He’s got you there for a purpose.
The grass withers, and the flowers fade, but the glory of God stands forever!
